Environmental responsibility

Ljungby Maskin abides by the laws and regulations applicable to environmental concerns. Washing and painting are performed in booths that incorporate the latest developments in re-circulation systems. All other environmentally hazardous substances, such as cutting oil, are handled with the same level of concern.

 

However, we take our environmental responsibility even further. With almost all production under the same roof, Ljungby Maskin is also saving the environment from pollution caused by transportation of sub-assemblies and components between various plants. 

 

Consideration for the environment applies not only to the production process, but also to the design of the product itself. Our machines are fitted with the most fuel-efficient engines on the market and we offer transmissions with lock-up, which reduces the fuel consumption by as much as 25% when driving on roads.
